Our Story
From a Business Idea to a Life-Changing Mission!
What started as a simple idea bringing high-tech sleeping pods, sensory beds, and autism beds from Asia to the U.S. quickly transformed into a life-changing mission for co-founders Gary, Jeff, and George when they saw the profound impact these sleeping pods had on children with autism and special needs. These pods, with their unique blend of sensory features, temperature control, and sound dampening technology, offered a safe, comforting environment unlike any other autism bed or special needs bed available.
One family told us their son, who previously struggled with meltdowns due to sleep deprivation, now sleeps soundly in his zPods sensory sleeping pod for autism, leading to calmer days and improved family dynamics. We secured initial funding from Arch Grants and a $100,000 follow-up grant and support from seed investors. As we grew, we made a bold move, shifting our manufacturing from China to the USA, ensuring higher quality and boosting the local economy.
Medicaid and private insurance providers are increasingly covering zPods sleeping pods and sensory beds making them more accessible to families who need dedicated sleep solutions.
Today, we're changing lives not just in the U.S. but also in Australia, Canada, the UK, and beyond with zPods sensory sleeping pods and autism beds. While our main focus remains helping children with autism through innovative sleeping pod solutions, we're also seeing growing interest from hospitals, respite care facilities, and special needs communities worldwide.
